Startup Workspace is pleased to confirm its involvement as an industry partner in the DEEP AI research project, marking an important step in our continued work on intelligent, connected systems and applied research.
The project is coordinated by the University of Medicine, Pharmacy, Sciences and Technology "George Emil Palade" of Târgu Mureș and is funded through the European Union's Programme for Smart Growth, Digitalisation and Financial Instruments 2021–2027. It brings together academic research and industrial development to address complex challenges in data-intensive and intelligent systems.
Our role within the project focuses on the development and integration of an advanced IoT network for real-time air quality monitoring. This includes the design of low-power sensor nodes, mesh-based wireless communication, and the reliable transmission of environmental data for central processing and analysis.
The project represents a multi-year research and development effort aimed at creating scalable and sustainable digital infrastructures. It supports the generation of high-quality data to enable AI-driven analysis and informed decision-making across a range of advanced technology use cases.
"Participating in DEEP AI allows us to apply our engineering expertise within a structured research environment and contribute to the development of practical, real-world systems," said a representative of Startup Workspace. "We look forward to working closely with academic partners to deliver meaningful technical outcomes."
The project is currently underway, with research, development, and validation activities progressing over the coming years.
